Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Export Logistics Commercial to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Custom House Agents (CHAs), managing post-shipment documentation, working on ERP platforms, and handling all import shipments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordination with Custom House Agents (CHAs):
- Liaise with CHAs to ensure timely clearance of export and import shipments.
- Provide necessary documentation and information to CHAs for customs clearance.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customs clearance in a timely manner.
Handling Post-Shipment Documentation:
- Prepare and manage all post-shipment documents including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all documents with international shipping regulations.
- Maintain records of all export and import documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
ERP Platform Management:
- Utilize the companys ERP system to manage logistics and commercial operations.
- Ensure accurate data entry and update of shipment information in the ERP system.
- Generate reports and analyze data from the ERP system to improve operational efficiency.
Logistics Management for Export and Import Shipments:
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to arrange transportation of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers and receipt of import goods.
- Handle any logistics issues that may arise during transit for both export and import shipments.
Commercial Operations:
- Manage export and import orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring all commercial terms are met.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding order status, shipment schedules, and any issues.
- Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to provide accurate shipping information and resolve customer and supplier queries.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay updated on international trade regulations and ensure compliance with all export and import requirements.
- Ensure all logistics activities adhere to company policies and legal guidelines.
- Conduct regular reviews of export and import processes to identify and implement improvements.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on shipment status, logistics performance, and compliance.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all logistics activities.
- Provide support in audits and inspections as required.
