Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team in a fully remote capacity.
The CFO will be responsible for the financial strategy and overall financial management of the company.
This role includes overseeing accounting operations, financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting, while ensuring alignment with business goals.
The position requires monthly travel to the company's headquarters for collaboration and strategic meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with internal standards.
- Drive capital structure decisions, including financing, debt management, and equity transactions.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and implement strategies for growth and profitability.
- Provide strategic guidance on M&A opportunities, including due diligence and integration.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and private equity partners.
- Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal audit processes.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team to deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within an international or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of financial management, strategic planning, and capital structure.
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with global teams.
