Front-End Developer (Angular and Pega UI)

Job Description:-

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer with expertise in Angular and Pega UI to join our team. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing user interfaces for our Pega applications. Your primary focus will be on creating visually appealing, Pixel-perfect, intuitive, and high-performance interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop robust and scalable user interfaces using Angular, ReactJS and Pega UI, Theme Cosmos.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Optimize front-end applications for maximum performance and speed.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of user interfaces to ensure functionality and usability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in front-end and Pega development.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, as needed.
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless integration of UI designs.
• Document technical specifications, code changes, and development processes.

Must have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in Angular and Pega UI, with a deep understanding of their core principles, rule resolution and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve complex technical challenges.

Other Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong knowledge of UI design principles and ability to collaborate with UX designers.
• Knowledge or Experience of Pega Constellation is a plus.
• Exposure on constellation and custom sdk for design system and custom components within constellation with React.
• Experience with Storybook or similar UI component documentation tools is preferred.
• Solid understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project requirements.
