### Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced APM (Application Performance Management) Tools Monitoring Expert with 7-8 years of hands-on experience to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in monitoring and optimizing the performance of enterprise applications using APM tools. This role involves the management, configuration, and troubleshooting of APM systems to ensure our applications run efficiently and without interruption.
### Key Responsibilities:
1. APM Tools Implementation Management:
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, VuNet, etc.
- Integrate APM tools with various application stacks and infrastructure layers.
- Ensure real-time monitoring and alerting are effectively set up to track application performance.
2. Application Performance Monitoring:
- Continuously monitor the performance and health of applications, servers, and databases using APM tools.
- Identify and diagnose performance issues, providing detailed analysis and reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular performance tuning to ensure optimal application functionality.
3. Incident Management Troubleshooting:
- Lead the troubleshooting of performance-related incidents, working closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring performance problems and develop long-term solutions.
4. Reporting Documentation:
- Generate detailed performance reports, dashboards, and alerts for different business units.
- Document monitoring processes, configurations, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
5. Collaboration Communication:
- Work closely with development, QA, and IT operations teams to improve application performance.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on how to use APM tools effectively.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in application performance monitoring.
- Propose and implement enhancements to existing monitoring processes and tools.
### Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-8 years of experience in application performance monitoring and management.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, VuNet etc.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, including web servers, databases, and middleware.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct deep dive analysis of performance issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in APM tools or performance engineering are a plus.
### Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and its impact on application performance.
- Experience in creating custom dashboards and reports tailored to different stakeholders needs.
