Job Title: Vehicle Integration Engineer - Electrical Vehicle (Passenger Cars)

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 10 to 20 years

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Integration Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in the domain of product engineering for electrical vehicles, specifically passenger cars. This role requires expertise in the integration of various subsystems including structure, driveline, powertrain, hydraulics, and electrical interfacing, along with proficiency in DMU (Digital Mock-Up) management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of all subsystems (structure, driveline, powertrain, hydraulics, and electrical interfacing) into the vehicle architecture, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
• Oversee the product engineering process for electrical vehicle projects, focusing on passenger car product lines.
• Manage and maintain the DMU (Digital Mock-Up) to ensure accurate representation of the vehicle's integration status.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all subsystems are integrated according to project timelines and quality standards.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure that the integrated vehicle systems meet all safety, regulatory, and performance requirements.
• Analyze and resolve any integration issues that arise during the development and testing phases.
• Interface with suppliers and external partners to ensure that all components are integrated effectively and meet the required specifications.
• Support the development and execution of validation plans to ensure that the integrated vehicle systems function as intended under all operating conditions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

• 10 to 20 years of experience in vehicle integration, with a focus on electrical vehicles and passenger cars.

• Strong domain knowledge in product engineering for electrical vehicles, including experience with structure, driveline, powertrain, hydraulics, and electrical interfacing.
• Proven experience in DMU management and familiarity with relevant CAD/CAE tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with systems engineering and vehicle-level validation.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical vehicles.
• Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools for vehicle integration.
