Content Writer

Key responsibilities

• Manage content creation for product launches including email, webpage, video scripts, blogs, press releases, social media promotion etc.
• Anchor content creation for all lead generation activities such as email marketing, content syndication, third party campaigns, paid ads etc. This could also include product launch related campaigns.
• Work with product managers, product marketing and marketing team members to create new pieces of content such as whitepapers, case studies, point of view documents, blogs etc. with an aim to improve website traffic (for inbound lead gen) and demand generation using other campaigns (internal or third party/agency campaigns).
• Develop a good understanding of the embedded vision industry and e-cons products, and over a time independently build new pieces of content.
• Finetune existing content in e-con’s website. This could include any content type mentioned before in this document.
• Review and proofread all types of content – including content shared by other teams – to make sure e-con’s content is high quality and world class.
• Establish a mechanism or process to consistently track and measure content effectiveness.
• Build content templates and frameworks to improve productivity and effectiveness of content creation.
• Explore new content marketing techniques to help improve e-con’s branding and lead generation efforts.

Desired skills and qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech. An MBA in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working across multiple marketing channels and content types.
• A good understanding of SEO and social media marketing is desired.
• Highly driven, enthusiastic, flexible and should possess the ability to take ownership to work with marketing team members and other stakeholders to support all content marketing

needs.

• Well organized, proactive and should have the ability to track and measure content effectiveness.
• Ability to work with the marketing leadership to suggest improvements to e-con’s content marketing efforts
