e-con Systems - Chief Financial Officer (10-20 yrs)

- The CFO/Finance Head/Finance Controller will be key driver of the company's financial strategy, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, and planning.

- This role demands expertise in corporate finance, fundraising, and structuring financial deals through banks and other institutions, including effective management of Capital Expenditures (Capex) and Operating Expenditures (Opex) to optimize Budget allocation & Planning.

- The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with board, investors, auditors, legal teams, and regulators while demonstrating expertise in financial predictive analytics, reporting, compliance, and regulatory practices. The candidate should work closely with all the teams and functions within e-con and its partners, suppliers and customers to understand and the model the business. Based on that model, prepare the KPI and share the progress to the teams, management and board.

- A proven track record in handling board meetings is essential, as well as experience in implementing Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) to align employee incentives with long-term company goals.

- Extensive knowledge of taxation, budgeting, financial controls, and risk management is essential. The candidate must have handled Profit & Loss (P&L) for at least one business unit independently and possess exposure to finance-based tools like MIS/CRM systems.

- This role requires a seasoned leader with deep experience in the manufacturing sector, with a thorough understanding of compliance, regulations, and financial best practices. Some of the important areas in the manufacturing are: inventory planning and control, cash flow management by understanding the cyclical nature, cost control, gross margin tracking, control over wastage and scrap, manufacturing yield, warranty obligations and financial modelling, and any risk management. The role requires working closely with sales teams and management to help with the costing for large business opportunities and strategic business opportunities.

- The successful candidate will bring leadership, strong business acumen, and a strategic mindset to support the company's mid-to-long-term vision and growth trajectory.

- Setup, improve, optimize the data (primarily financial data) capture process for automated processing and reporting in ERP, Accounting and other software tools. Work with the in-house ERP software team, Zoho CRM team, Jira team, etc to set up the process to capture all the essential data from all functions and help the function heads optimize for performance and efficiency.
