Deputy Manager - Accounts & Taxation

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager with a background in ICWA and a strong understanding of budgeting, vendor payments, and taxation, particularly with experience in African markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, implement, and monitor the annual budgeting process. Provide insights on financial trends, forecasts, and variances. Ensure that the budget is in line with organizational goals and objectives.
• Vendor Payments: Manage and process vendor payments in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure all payments are compliant with company policies and procedures. Maintain strong relationships with vendors to resolve any payment issues or discrepancies.
• Taxation: Oversee the company's taxation compliance for African markets, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings. Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and work closely with tax authorities and consultants.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis for senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Identify areas for cost optimization and process improvement.
• Financial Analysis & Strategy: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to guide decision-making, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
