Floor Manager - Jewellery Store

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to lead our team at a premier jewellery store. The Floor Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires a combination of leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for jewellery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of sales associates to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
• Lead by example by providing exceptional customer service, answering queries, and assisting clients with product selection.
• Oversee the maintenance of the store, ensuring the display of products is visually appealing and organized.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance and work with the management team to implement strategies for increasing sales and achieving monthly targets.
• Conduct regular staff training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
• Ensure inventory is accurately tracked and stock levels are maintained.
• Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner, striving to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist in the recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations of team members.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop promotional campaigns and events to attract customers and boost sales.
• Maintain a positive, high-energy work environment, fostering teamwork and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, strictly in the jewellery industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• In-depth knowledge of jewellery products, trends, and the luxury retail market is a plus.
• Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies for improvement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• A passion for luxury goods and the jewellery industry.
• Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
