Project Lead

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Lead to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, including identification, planning, execution, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in proposal development, vendor negotiations, cost management, and progress tracking to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Identification and Initiation

• Identify potential projects aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and risk assessments to evaluate project viability.

Proposal Development

• Prepare detailed project proposals, including cost estimations, resource requirements, and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align proposals with organizational priorities and strategies.

Vendor Management and Negotiation

• Identify and shortlist vendors, suppliers, and contractors based on project requirements.
• Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms, quality standards, and cost-efficiency.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting

• Develop and implement tools for tracking project milestones, deadlines, and progress.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure project objectives are met.

Budget and Cost Management

• Track actual costs against budgeted figures to avoid cost overruns.
• Identify and address discrepancies between budget and expenditures proactively.

Team Collaboration

• Lead cross-functional teams to execute project plans effectively.
• Facilitate communication among team members to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.

Experience- 10+ years experience in a manufacturing or consulting industry, with some knowledge of best practices in green field project set up, operations management, industrial engineering,

Qualification- Graduate preferably with a post-graduate degree with specialization in manufacturing processes or MBA in project management or related field. Should be well versed in planning tools and software.
