Assistant Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis/MIS - Manufacturing - CA (2-6 yrs)

Job Profile: Assistant manager

Location: Bengaluru

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Preferred Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably first attempt qualified or rank holder

Key Responsibilities

1. Management Information System (MIS):

- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate MIS reports on operational and financial metrics.

- Develop and implement dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Provide actionable insights to management for operational improvements.

- Analyze product and operational costs to recommend cost-saving measures.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

- Conduct variance analysis of actual performance vs. budget/forecast and provide recommendations.

- Support strategic initiatives by preparing financial models and scenario analyses.

3. Compliance & Process Improvement:

- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and compliance with statutory requirements.

- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

4. Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.

- Assist the CFO in preparing reports and presentations for management and board meetings.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably first attempt or rank holder.

- Experience: 2 years of experience; manufacturing industry exposure is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of MIS, costing, and FP&A principles and practices.

- Proficient in Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred), and financial modeling tools.

- SAP experience will be plus

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
