Automation Tester : Cypress Automation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Test Engineer with 6+ years automation expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and executing automation scripts, creating test strategies, and contributing to high-quality software delivery through Agile processes.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including test planning, design, and execution of test cases.
• Create, maintain, and debug UI automation test cases to ensure application stability and performance.
• Perform functional, regression, and batch testing across different system layers, including API testing and database validation.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation during testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA and ensure proper resolution.

• Proficiency in Cypress for UI automation testing.
• Experience with API testing and database testing using SQL.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Qtest.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and testing processes in Scrum environments.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in an Agile environment.

• Experience in performance testing would be a plus.
• Prior experience in the BFSI domain is desirable but not mandatory.
