The impact you will have in this role:

Containers as a Service (CaaS) provides DTCC Businesses with innovative and reliable infrastructure services, leveraging the global and diverse expertise of our workforce to reduce risk and improve the efficiency, performance, stability, security, and quality of our platforms.

This role will primarily focus on working with application development teams and supporting OpenShift Container Platform ecosystems for the organization in both AWS public cloud and on premise. This includes managing container tenant provisioning, isolation, and capacity. This role will work directly with infrastructure as code-based automation to manage the capacity of the overall platform and deliver new capacity and capabilities as necessary.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with partners to understand application creation and deployment pain points for remediation.
• Assist development and maintain a GitOps strategy for the Kubernetes platform.
• Influence ecosystem partners for secrets management, observability, application standardization and new capabilities.
• Encourage and accept positive change and influence others to adapt to change by demonstrating the execution of new concepts and ways of working.
• Demonstrate reliability and be accountable for completion of assigned projects, processes, and programs by taking vital actions to continuously meet required deadlines and goals.
• Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts.
• Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
• Partner with experienced team members to develop accurate work estimates on work packages.
• Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.
• Guide the organization to successfully design and develop infrastructure and application changes and automation to support development-test-deployment process.
• Be a critical thinker who can proactively identify potential application containerized process improvements by studying current practices and business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements, and designing modifications.
• Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualification:

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience

Talent Needed for Success: -

• Expertise with the Kubernetes/RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Expertise in RedHat Linux administration.
• Experience with AWS cloud PAAS/IAAS technologies.
• Experience with Ansible automation platform.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
• Experience delivering infrastructure as code using CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform.
• Solid understanding of Agile Software Development Lifecycle.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, AWS services.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise applying true DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code automation.
• Highly motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
• Experience with site reliability engineering, production systems, administration, network engineering, or cloud automation.
• Strong organizational skills.
