DSRC - Senior PHP Developer - CodeIgniter (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement high-quality web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework.

- Utilize CodeIgniter's features and libraries effectively to build efficient and maintainable code.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of CodeIgniter's MVC architecture.

- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.

- Integrate front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with back-end logic.

- Design and implement database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and optimize database performance.

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for integration with other systems.

- Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform thorough testing to ensure code quality and identify and resolve bugs.

- Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.

- Collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, and project managers.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Analyze and solve complex technical problems related to web application development.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends.

Requirements :

- Minimum 5-7 years of commercial experience in PHP development.

- Minimum 5 years of experience with the CodeIgniter framework (version 3 or 4).

- Crucially, this CodeIgniter experience must be within the last 2 years.

- Solid understanding of web development principles, including HTTP, REST, and security best practices.

- Proficient in SQL and experience with database management.

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
