Project Engineer / Asst. Project Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal department for design, drawing and manufacturing activities.
• Hands on experience to handle Clients/Vendors and attached various type of meeting i.e. KOM, Weekly Monthly Review meeting etc.
• Identify bottle-necks and pushing for resolution. Prepare Bar chat, Project management schedule.
• Attend kick off meetings and project review meetings.
• Must have ability to check and figure out the fabrication drawings with vendor & clients.
• Ensuring resolution to the bottle-neck condition of project, managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Technically evaluating vendor quotations to meet required application and specifications, reviewing, and commenting on vendor documentation
• Project monitoring, procurement planning and control. Project expedition at vendor workshop.
• Prepare or review various engineering drawings such as P&ID, PFD, PMS, VMS, Equipment List, MDS, Project specifications, 3D model review, GA and detail/manufacturing drawings and BOQ, GA and isometrics of piping, BOM, Nozzle orientation, Nozzle loading, Line list and stress analysis, Shipping and handling drawing.
• Knowledge of different types materials and weldability.
• Review of ITP/QAP
• Average QC knowledge about Pressure vessel, Piping, and structures with different types of MOC.
• Monitor all quality related activities on the project with site inspections at vendor production plantand/or project job sites.
• Perform all internal and external audits as on required.
• Verify customers quality requirements are specified to vendors and customers documentation submittals.
• Coordinate with QA/QC Dept. with customer representatives, site supervisor and procurement manager. Always ensure proper filing of all documentations.
• Plan manufacturing activities and coordinate for inspections with QC team as per ITP
• Knowledge of Inspection procedures, scheduling.
• Candidate with experience of Fabrication & Skid related industry would be an advantage.
• Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Specific Requirements:

• A Mechanical Degree/Diploma engineer with minimum aggregate of 55%.
• 3 to 5 years of successful work experience with above job responsibilities.

Essential Requirements:

• AutoCAD
• MS office
• Any other software related to PMS

• Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written
• Excellent computer skills, Email writing and open to work with and learn other systems
• Applicant shall have capable of working with minimum supervision as a part of a multi-disciplinary Project team Extremely detail oriented and very meticulous with paperwork.
• Proactive, Self-starter able to perform duties without immediate and constant supervision.
• Able to multitask such as handling more than three projects concurrently at the same time.
• Flexible, open minded, quick to learn and able to work as part of a team.
