Operations Manager

Key Responsibility:

We are seeking an Operations Manager for our heritage site - Aguad Jail premises . Job entails managing operations of the entire multi-use culture complex comprising museum, art galleries and food and beverage establishments. The role will report to the V. P Sales & Group CEO and based out of Goa.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing personnel, including receptionists, housekeeping, maintenance and housekeeping staff, and office employees
• Monitoring employee performance and conducting regular evaluations to help improve customer service
• Collecting payments and maintaining records of budgets, funds, and expenses.
• Welcoming and managing visitor experiences
• Resolving issues regarding services, amenities, and policies
• Organising activities and assigning responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity
• Applying marketing strategy to promote the services and amenities.
• Coordinating with external parties, including suppliers, travel agencies, and conference planners
• Evaluating site performance and ensuring compliance with health and safety rules.
• Partaking in financial activities, including establishing rates, setting budgets, and assigning funds to departments
• Review and conduct regular training and orientation programs for executives and staff on site. Ability to generate and roll out a training schedule and periodic reviews
• Coordination with ASI / STATE ARCHIVES / PANCHAYAT site teams for recording updates, clearing bottlenecks and weekly progress reports
• Document submissions & follow ups with Govt offices for the various projects underway with state and central government
• Ensure smooth operations of the Aguad Jail premises
