Dog Handler

As a Dog Handler, your role involves managing and caring for rescue dogs trained for beach lifeguarding operations. Key responsibilities include daily exercise, ensuring the dogs' safety, and overseeing their behaviour. You may be assigned to work at various beaches across Goa.

Keys & Responsibilities:

• Work as a buddy with the dog to ensure safety of the beach visitors either by Patrolling with the dog/ rescuing the victim from water using the dog.
  
• Interact with the beach visitors in an appropriate manner ensuring their safety
  
• Adhere to the beach protocols as defined by the organisation.
  
• Will be responsible for the overall well being of the dog including grooming, feeding, training practice, fitness and any medical/other need.
  
• Work as a team with other Paw Squad members and ensure the well being of all the dogs at the kennel.
  
• Take personal accountability of all the equipment allocated.
  

Requirements:

• Age bracket : 20-30 years
  
• Should be a dog lover
  
• Flexibility to operate in split shifts
  
• Languages - English, Hindi and an additional language like Konkani, Marathi/others will be an advantage
  
• Should be able to swim and drive a four wheeler
  
• Will be required to stay at the premise
  
• Should be well versed with data entry and smart phone usage
  
• Previous dog handling experience will be added advantage
