Senior Verification Engineer (5-6 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our complex Fabric, Network-on-Chip (NOC), and Interconnect blocks.

This role demands a strong understanding of hardware verification methodologies, industry-standard protocols, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality verification results.

You will be responsible for developing comprehensive verification plans, creating robust UVM-based testbenches, and driving coverage closure.

Responsibilities :

Verification Planning & Execution :

- Develop detailed and comprehensive verification plans based on design specifications and architecture documents.

- Execute verification plans, including test case development, simulation, and debugging, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional requirements.

- Utilize advanced verification techniques and methodologies to validate complex designs.

UVM-Based Testbench Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and reusable UVM-based testbenches for Fabric, NOC, and Interconnect blocks.

- Implement effective stimulus generation, response checking, and coverage collection mechanisms.

Protocol Verification :

- Verify adherence to industry-standard protocols, including the AMBA suite (AXI/ACE), PCIe, CXL, interrupt handling, and power management.

- Develop and execute protocol-specific test cases to ensure compliance and interoperability.

Coverage-Driven Verification :

- Utilize assertions and functional coverage to ensure thorough verification and identify potential design flaws.

- Analyze functional and code coverage metrics to identify and address verification gaps.

- Drive coverage closure and ensure high-quality verification results.

Debugging & Problem Solving :

- Perform thorough debugging to identify and resolve design and verification issues.

- Collaborate with design and architecture teams to analyze and address root causes of failures.

- Utilize debugging tools and techniques to efficiently diagnose and resolve complex issues.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Document verification plans, test cases, and results in a clear and concise manner.

- Provide regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders.

- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all verification activities.

Coherent Traffic Verification :

- Apply experience, or develop knowledge of, coherent traffic verification.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.

- 5-6 years of experience in IP or subsystem verification of complex blocks.

- Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog (SV) and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).

- Extensive experience in developing and executing test plans, testbenches, and assertions.

- Proven experience in verifying Fabric/NOC/Interconnect blocks.

- Solid understanding of protocols such as AMBA suite (AXI/ACE), PCIe, CXL, interrupt handling, and power management.

- Experience with coverage-driven verification and coverage closure.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Experience must have been gained after the completion of graduation.

- Clean academic record without backlogs.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience or knowledge of coherent traffic verification.

- Experience with formal verification techniques.

- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, etc)
