Embedded Engineer - Model Based Development (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for experienced Model-Based Development (MBD) Developers to join our team. The candidates should have expertise in Matlab/Simulink, auto-code generation, and Classic AUTOSAR, with a strong focus on automotive communication protocols and testing.

Key Responsibilities :

Model-Based Development :

- Hands-on design, implementation, debugging, and testing of systems using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, and TargetLink/Embedded Coder/BTC.

- Perform requirements analysis, functional specification documentation, and test specification creation.

Code Generation & Testing :

- Perform auto-code generation and static analysis for developed software.

- Execute unit-level and system-level testing, including MIL and SIL testing.

Debugging & Implementation :

- Design, document, test, and debug software modules in a structured manner.

- Automotive Communication Protocols:

- Develop and test software with communication protocols like Ethernet, CAN, SPI, and LIN.

Collaboration & Integration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of MBD solutions.

Required Skills :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Model-Based Development.

- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and autocode generation tools like TargetLink.

- Strong knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR and its application.

- Experience with scripting or programming languages like C/C++.

- Familiarity with Automotive Communication Protocols (Ethernet, CAN, SPI, LIN).

- Knowledge of testing methodologies, including MIL, SIL, and device-level testing.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for team-based development.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of BTC tools and advanced testing frameworks.

- Experience in scripting languages for automation of testing and workflows.

- Understanding of safety standards and compliance in automotive systems.
