Mis Specialist

Job Summary:

The MIS Senior Executive in the Quality Department will play a critical role in managing and analyzing quality-related data, generating insightful reports, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance processes. This position requires proficiency in data handling, reporting tools, and a strong understanding of quality standards and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Management & Reporting:
   
• Design, develop, and maintain Management Information System (MIS) for the Quality Department.
• Collect, process, and analyze quality data from various sources to track department KPIs and performance metrics.
• Prepare periodic reports and dashboards for senior management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Quality Metrics Analysis:
   
• Analyze quality trends, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve product/service quality.
• Generate actionable insights through data analysis for continuous process improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues using statistical tools and methodologies.
3. Process Improvements & Automation:
   
• Identify opportunities to automate data collection and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop tools, templates, and workflows to enhance data management efficiency.
• Ensure seamless integration of MIS tools with other quality management systems.
4. Compliance & Documentation:
   
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality records, SOPs, and process manuals.
• Ensure all quality-related reports adhere to company and regulatory standards.
5. Collaboration & Support:
   
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to align reporting mechanisms.
• Provide training and support to team members on MIS tools and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality initiatives.
6. Ad-hoc Analysis & Projects:
   
• Provide data-driven insights for special projects and initiatives related to quality improvements.
• Support audits and assessments by providing relevant data and reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Quality Management, or related fields.
• Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and databases (SQL knowledge preferred).

Experience:
