Job Description

Job Title: HR Executive and Generalist

Location: Hyderabad

Reports To: MD


Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive and Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR operationsincluding recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, and employee life cycle management. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, thorough knowledge of labor laws, and the ability to maintain efficient HR processes. Besides these activities, the HR Executive is expected to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Management.


Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Recruitment

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Create and post job descriptions, source candidates, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.
  • Conduct reference checks and negotiate offers to ensure a smooth hiring process.

2. Payroll Management

  • Oversee monthly payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursal of salaries.
  • Resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly.

3. HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy in HRMS or other systems.
  • Prepare HR reports (employee turnover, attendance, leaves, etc.) for management review.
  • Assist in policy formulation and documentation, ensuring they comply with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

4. Statutory Compliance

  • Stay up to date with local labor laws and regulations (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory forms and adherence to all compliance requirements.

5. Attendance Management

  • Oversee daily attendance tracking, leave records, and absenteeism.
  • Address attendance-related queries and discrepancies, escalating when necessary.
  • Generate attendance reports for payroll and management decision-making.

6. Joining Formalities

  • Organize and conduct onboarding sessions, including orientation and policy briefings.
  • Collect necessary documents, set up IDs, and ensure a smooth integration for new hires.

7. Exit Formalities

  • Manage the full and final settlement process, ensuring accurate calculations and disbursement.
  • Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback for organizational improvements.
  • Ensure proper handover of assets and documentation closure.

8. Other Duties

  • The HR executive is expected to perform any other reasonable job duties as requested by the Management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR operations.
  • Proficiency in HRMS/payroll software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
