Job Description
- Understanding business requirements to formulate problems to solve and restrict the slice of data to be explored.
- Performing cleansing, processing, and validation on the data whilst analyzing, to ensure its quality and error elimination.
- Data slice and dice, exploring and visualizing business data with desired output.
- Should possess better written and Oral communication to easily grasp and understand business requirements effectively.
- Should be well versed with Business Intelligence and analytics tools.
- Interact with DP World technology back-end teams to develop various customized reports at regular intervals.
- Should possess enough skills to create and run basic reports, analysis within Oracle BI and analytics tools.
- Create, support, and automate various data sets not captured within ERP.
- Preferred hands-on experience over Oracle fusion SCM with embedded tools like Oracle BI and Analytics warehouse.
- Expertise in automating output reports in excel, power BI etc.
- Need to have better presentation skills to showcase data outputs feeds effectively.
- Need to automate circulation of various procurement-based reports and dashboards across all divisions and multiple business units at various intervals.
- Be a quick learner and adapt various new features/modules rolled within ERP s and train the users at various timely intervals.
- Interact and coordinate with Master Data Management teams for various reports like item master, supplier database etc.
- Assertive, resilient and welcomes change. Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together.
QUALIFICATIONS COMPETENCIES
- Graduate / Postgraduate from reputed university preferably in Engineering/ Operations/ supply chain management
- At least 2 years experience in use of reporting Business Intelligence tools, preferably Oracle, Fusion Analytics, experience with SAS, MS PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to analyze large datasets.
- Advanced analytical skills to enable a logical approach to problem solving
- Data lake experience preferred
- Minimum 5-8 years experience with similar industry in Procurement domain
- Working experience of Oracle fusion preferred
- Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with internal stakeholders
- Able to manage time effectively, priorities tasks and achieve set targets
- Able to work well under pressure and manage emergency
- Decision making ability and excellent analytical skills with proactive approach
