ADP Manager

Job Summary:

The ADP Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll processing, employee benefits administration, and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) functions within ADP software. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations while improving efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now / ADP Vantage / ADP Global View or other ADP platforms.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution, including tax filings, deductions, and garnishments.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and company policies.
• Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, deductions, and audits.
• Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end processing (W-2s, 1099s, etc.).
• Act as the primary liaison between HR, Finance, and ADP support for issue resolution.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify discrepancies and process improvements.
• Implement and optimize ADP features for better HR & payroll operations.
• Train HR and payroll staff on ADP system functionality and best practices.
• Stay updated on payroll laws, compliance changes, and system updates.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2+ years in an ADP management role.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, ADP Vantage, ADP Enterprise, or related ADP software.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and labor laws.
• Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or SHRM-CP / PHR certification.
• Experience in multi-state payroll processing.
• Knowledge of ADP integrations with HR, Finance, and ERP systems.
