System Administrator - Network Support (1-19 yrs)

Role : Network Support and System Administrator

Job Description :

Role & Responsibilities :

- Network & System administrator for maintaining internal server architecture and cloud servers.

- Defining network security and backup policies.

- Linux and Windows server admin

- Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks

- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues

- Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure

- Should have experience in Firewall and security.

- Must be flexible to work outside of business hours as per business requirements

- Should have good knowledge of the infrastructure monitoring system

- Good network troubleshooting skills with the Fair understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and routing protocols, switching.

- Perform router switch network hardware software upgrades.

- Own each customer case from initial creation to resolution.

- Experience in audits and process compliance.

- Manage, maintain, and support all industrial network server hardware, virtual machines and installed software.

- Analyze existing network infrastructure, identify weaknesses, vulnerabilities and Operation Technology policy compliance issues. Suggest, develop, design and implement solutions with a focus on automation reliability.

- Prepare and submit capital expenditure requests for major improvement projects.

- Develop and maintain documentation of network architecture

- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization

- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes

- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues with rout cause.

- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.

- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN), Active Directory and Server OS patch management

- Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux Server, Firewall management and VPN administration

- Preferred to have good knowledge about SUSE LINUX installation and configurations.

- Should be able to handle in house and cloud servers (Linux / Windows) and networking related configuration / issues.

- Knowledge of complete installation of SAP Business One and its components on HANA and SQL - on Cloud (Azure, AWS etc. ) and on-prem. server is preferred.(not mandatory)

- Knowledge of SAP B1 SQL/HANA Database Administration is preferred. (not mandatory)
