QA QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Monitor and evaluate material quality, construction methods, and workmanship.
• Assist in developing and conducting training programs on quality standards and procedures for project teams.

Quality Control (QC):

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Supervise and verify all structural, architectural, and MEP works for compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify non-conformances (NCRs), document deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee material testing and ensure test results meet the project requirements.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection records, test reports, and material approval documents.
• Maintain a proper document control system for all quality-related records.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality-related issues.

Coordination & Compliance:

• Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Conduct pre-inspection meetings and ensure all necessary approvals before execution.
• Ensure that all quality-related activities align with ISO 9001, local building standards, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with client representatives and regulatory bodies for inspections and approvals.
