Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data from various hotel systems, including property management, point-of-sale, and customer relationship management.

Reporting and Visualization: Create reports and dashboards to visualize data insights, trends, and recommendations for hotel operations, revenue management, and marketing.

Guest Satisfaction Analysis: Analyze guest feedback and satisfaction data to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing the guest experience.

Revenue Management Analysis: Analyze revenue data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide recommendations for optimizing room rates, occupancy, and revenue.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the hotel industry.

Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data quality and integrity by maintaining accurate and up to date data and identifying/ resolving data discrepancies.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate data insights and recommendations to hotel stakeholders, including hotel management, revenue management, and marketing teams in consultation with the management.

Educations Qualification & Requirement:

Bachelors degree in Hotel Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the hospitality industry/ travel & Tourism

Should be proficient in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Should be excellent in communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Preference will be given to the candidate who is from hospitality background, preferably in a resort kind of setup.
