In this position, you ll primarily be responsible for helping our team create content that helps software developers to integrate their software with Docusign using our APIs and SDKs, and extension apps. The content you create must distill complex technical information into easy-to-understand guidance while conforming to our high quality standards. Secondary responsibilities include helping our team write blog posts, create videos, and other developer-focused content as needed.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Senior Manager, Development Content.
Responsibility
Write or create content that explains complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand guidance for software developers
Coordinate publication with the content team
Work closely with engineering, product management, and developer marketing
Follow defined standards and processes to ensure quality and consistency
Create developer content for various content types, such as videos, blog posts, API success stories, and code examples
Improve existing documentation continuously based on developer feedback and analytics
Participate in select Docusign conferences, webinars, meetups, and hackathons to promote Docusign development technologies and to gather feedback directly from external developers
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
7+ years related job experience to include developer documentation, SDK and API documentation, technical documentation, and user guide development
Able to work with colleagues located in various time zones
Preferred
7+ years of experience with SaaS developer content creation for enterprise-class software
Experience in a corporate/enterprise environment
Proficiency with one or more programming languages, preferably C#, Java, Node.js, PHP, Ruby, or Python
Excellent prioritization and time management skills
Excellent orientation to detail and quality in writing output that makes complex technical concepts and instructions clear and simple
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills; comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced business environment
Self-directed and proactive
Clear sense of accountability and ownership
Focused on goals and the overall team and company objectives
Familiarity with OAuth
Familiarity with Postman and Swagger files
Familiarity with git and popular IDEs
