Job Description
Doctors For You is seeking applications for Technical Officer in its TB Projects. We are looking
Technical Officer - TB to providing oversight and direction to TB Programs. The selected
candidate will offer expert oversight over all DFY TB projects. The ideal candidate will work from
the admin office in Gurugram in NCR of Delhi. Qualification, Skills & Competencies:
Ideal candidate will have an advanced university degree (Master s or higher) in Public Health, Community Medicine or Preventive & Social Medicine, Epidemiology or other relevant disciplines.
At least 4-5 years of experience in public health, including 1-2 years of relevant experience at national, and state levels in TB planning, programming, devising implementation
strategies, monitoring and evaluation of health care program. Has at least 3 year of experience in preparing, reviewing and putting up contracts,
agreements related to TB sector. Reports directly to public health expert.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, along with strong interpersonal skills, to effectively build and manage professional relationships with technical experts and other partners.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications to an extent data analysis.
Ability to work independently and under pressure, manage multiple tasks concurrently, willing to travel and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
Will be able to travel for 40-50% to carry out the project activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assists Public health expert for preparing standard operating procedures for active case finding of TB cases workflow pattern.
Plans out active case finding and related activities for all the proposed geographies. Actively involved in the implementation of ACF activities in the proposed geographies.
Collates and analyses all the active case finding data and presents the same to technical experts, NTEP and relevant stakeholders.
Trains the field team working for ACF activities.
Prepares contracts, agreements, tenders and involved in the whole process of tender of services, procurement of health products, reviewing of agreement documents.
Assists Operational Lead for reaching out to partners, Officers at Hubs for finalization and completion of agreement from signing to implementing to looking at any legal aspects
related to it. Liaise with the district authorities, partners, and relevant stakeholders.
Carry out the capacity assessment of Private Hospitals/ health care facilities in the specified geographies.
Coordinate meetings with technical expert committee, support in documentation, follow-up on action points.
Travels to undertake field visits to monitor and provide supportive supervision for the
implementation of ACF activities and provides feedback at appropriate levels.
