Can or Diagnostic testing

Diverse Lynx is looking for CAN or Diagnostic testing to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

• you will be responsible for testing and validating electronic control systems, particularly those utilizing Controller Area Network (CAN) communication protocols
• This role involves designing and executing diagnostic tests, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the reliability and functionality of automotive or embedded systems
• The CAN or Diagnostic Testing Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of electronic control units

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Design:Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and design comprehensive testing plans
• Develop test cases and scenarios for functional and diagnostic testing
• CAN Communication Testing:Validate and test electronic control units (ECUs) that utilize CAN communication protocols
• Ensure proper functionality of CAN bus communication within the system
• Diagnostic Testing:Design and execute diagnostic tests to validate fault detection and reporting mechanisms
• Identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to diagnostic functionality
• Automation and Scripting:Implement test automation scripts to streamline repetitive testing processes
• Utilize scripting languages (eg, Python) for test automation
• Test Execution and Reporting:Execute test cases and document test results thoroughly
• Provide clear and detailed reports on testing outcomes, including identified issues and resolutions
• Collaboration with Development Teams:Work closely with software and hardware development teams to understand system architecture and design
• Collaborate on debugging and resolving issues found during testing
• Quality Assurance:Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
• Implement best practices for ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic control systems
• Documentation:Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and testing procedures
• Create and update documentation for diagnostic and CAN communication protocols
