• We are seeking a qualified and experienced AS400 Service Desk Analyst to join our IT support team
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance related to AS400 systems, ensuring smooth operations, and addressing end-user issues promptly
• The AS400 Service Desk Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our AS400 environment

Responsibilities:

• AS400 Support:Provide first-level support for AS400-related issues and incidents
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on AS400 systems
• Collaborate with system administrators to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• User Assistance:Respond to user inquiries and issues regarding AS400 applications and functionality
• Assist end-users in navigating AS400 interfaces and resolving access or permissions-related concerns
• Create and maintain user documentation and knowledge base articles
• Incident Management:Log, track, and prioritize AS400-related incidents and service requests
• Escalate issues to appropriate teams or vendors when necessary
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents within established service level agreements (SLAs)
• Monitoring and Maintenance:Monitor AS400 system performance and conduct routine maintenance tasks
• Work with system administrators to implement upgrades and patches as needed
• Perform system backups and restoration procedures
• Collaboration:Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues
• Participate in IT projects related to AS400 system enhancements or upgrades
