Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect our organization s IT infrastructure and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture: Design and implement security architectures, including network security, endpoint security, and identity and access management (IAM).
- Security Operations: Monitor security systems, respond to security alerts, and perform incident response activities.
- Vulnerability Management: The process of identifying, evaluating, and mitigating vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
- Security Policy Development: Establish and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Security Tool Implementation: Deploy and configure security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
- Staying Updated: Stay current with the latest security technologies and trends.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent comprehension of application security, system security, and network security.
- Experience with security tools and technologies.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, CIS).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
