- Website Maintenance:

- Monitor website performance, identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery procedures.

- Technical Administration:
- Manage and configure web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
- Implement and maintain website security measures (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SSL certificates).
- Optimize website speed and performance using caching, image optimization, and other techniques.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, PHP).
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP).
- Other Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with web developers and designers on website updates and improvements.
- Assist with website analytics and reporting.
- Provide technical support to internal and external users.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of professional experience as a Web Administrator or in a related role.
- Proven experience with website administration tasks (e.g., server management, security, troubleshooting).
- Strong understanding of web technologies and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, PHP).
- Familiarity with network security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
