Job Description
Job Summary
The IT Marketing Manager is a key member of the marketing team responsible for overseeing all aspects of an organization s IT marketing strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the IT industry, digital marketing trends, and best practices. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven individual with excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive IT marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital (social media, email, SEO/SEM, paid advertising), content marketing, events, and public relations.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target audiences, understand their needs, and develop effective messaging.
- Plan and manage the IT marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across all channels.
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, identifying key metrics and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, media outlets, and other key stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry and the digital marketing landscape.
- Manage and mentor junior marketing team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of SEO/SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing best practices.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
