PHP Developer - API & Enterprise Application Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• API Development & Optimization Build and optimize PHP-based APIs for high-performance data exchange.
• Handling Large Datasets Work with massive JSON datasets and ensure efficient processing.
• Enterprise Application Development Contribute to large-scale applications with multi-user environments.
• Legacy Code & Database Understanding Get up to speed quickly with existing codebases and databases.
• Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with Angular Developers, Project Managers, and Sales Teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Documentation & Best Practices Maintain clear, well-structured documentation for API endpoints and backend logic.
• AI-Assisted Development Leverage AI tools like Copilot to enhance productivity.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong PHP experience with a focus on API development.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON processing, and data handling.
• Experience with MySQL & large dataset optimization.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
• Fast learner You must be able to understand legacy code and existing databases quickly.
• Solid communication skills – You will interact with multiple teams including developers, project managers, and non-tech teams.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Angular (not mandatory but a plus).
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Understanding of DevOps and cloud-based environments.
