ElasticSearch/Coveo Engineer (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled ElasticSearch/Coveo Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our search infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Search Infrastructure Management : Design, implement, and maintain robust Elasticsearch and Coveo-based search solutions. Optimize search performance, relevancy, and query processing. Monitor and troubleshoot search system issues.

- Data Indexing and Transformation : Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and index data for search. Ensure data quality and consistency. Optimize indexing processes for performance and scalability.

- Search Query Optimization : Analyze search queries and identify opportunities for improvement. Fine-tune search relevance algorithms and ranking strategies.

- Cloud and Containerization : Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy and manage search infrastructure.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective search solutions. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and Coveo.

- Strong understanding of search algorithms, indexing techniques, and query optimization.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
