Job Description:
digiALERT is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Consultant to join our team. The Security Consultant will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of security matters, including risk assessments, security strategies, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and threats to client systems and networks.
- Developing and implementing security strategies and policies to protect client assets and information.
- Advising clients on compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOX.
- Providing expert guidance on incident response and crisis management.
- Staying current with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure the best possible service to clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of information security.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001/2, COBIT, and ITIL.
- Experience with network and application security, including vulnerability management, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, and CRISC, are a plus.
