Job Description
- Develop and deploy scalable and reliable Java applications in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Design and implement microservices architectures leveraging cloud-native technologies (containers, Kubernetes, serverless).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain cloud-based solutions.
- Integrate cloud-based storage, databases, and messaging services (e.g., AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob).
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in the cloud environment.
- Ensure security, compliance, and data protection standards are followed in cloud deployments.
- Provide guidance and support for cloud infrastructure setup, configuration, and management.
- Monitor application performance in the cloud and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.) and cloud-based development.
- Expertise in at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with cloud services like compute (EC2, GCE, Azure VMs), databases (RDS, Cloud SQL, Cosmos DB), and storage.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, VPC, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated deployments in the cloud.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to new cloud technologies and tools quickly.
