Overview:

- Client company offers a comprehensive range of durable and safety-compliant workwear and accessories catering to various industries, including industrial, hospitality, and security sectors. Their product portfolio includes essentials like boiler suits, conti suits, and dust coats; specialized flame acid-resistant and hi-visibility clothing; casual workwear such as chinos and utility jackets; chef and hospitality uniforms; weather gear for extreme conditions; and security wear, including combat clothing and accessories like belts, torches, and whistles. Additionally, they provide denim apparel, tees, golfers, and various headgear, ensuring functionality and performance across diverse work environments.

- This role involves direct operations of two manufacturing facilities (5,000 sqm combined) producing premium workwear and PPE for African industries. Ensure quality standards, sustainable practices, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage production across dual facilities, optimizing resource allocation

- Lead 150+ staff across both locations

- Maintain Fair Wear Foundation and Oeko-Tex- compliance

- Drive lean manufacturing and quality control

- Oversee inventory and supply chain

- Develop workforce training programs

- Report on KPIs and facility performance

Requirements:

- 10+ years manufacturing experience, 7+ in textile/garment production

- Proven multi-site management experience

- Strong knowledge of ISO standards

- Experience with sustainable manufacturing

- Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing/Business

- Master's degree preferred
