Senior IT Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Administrator to join our dynamic global team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and enhancing the Indian IT infrastructure ensuring seamless operations across our global offices. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and has a strong technical foundation and understanding of security concepts.

Role & responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Management

a. Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and networks.

b. Administrate credentials per needs and job descriptions.

2. Security and Firewalls

a. Configure and maintain FortiGate firewall, ensuring robust network security and

performance.

b. Monitor security protocols and follow our SIEM alerts to protect from potential threats.

c. Manage and create GPOs to ensure compliance and streamline IT processes.

3. Email Systems

a. Manage and troubleshoot mail relay system to ensure secure and reliable email communications and resolve email-related issues promptly.

4. Team Collaboration

a. Work closely with the global IT team to align strategies and share best practices.

b. Participate in cross-regional projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.

5. Support and Maintenance

a. Provide high-level IT support to internal teams, addressing escalated technical issues.

b. Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and recommend improvements.

6. Documentation and Reporting

a. Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and IT policies.

b. Generate reports on system health, performance, and compliance.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 6+ years in IT management or a similar role.

Technical Skills

1. Proficient in Group Policy Management and LAPS.

2. Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewall.

3. Familiarity with mail relay systems and email protocols.

4. Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.

Soft Skills
