Finance Specialist USGAAP - General Ledger

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial integrity including external audit management
• Deliver and implement the financial close process in accordance with agreed close schedules and in compliance with US GAAP
• Diagnose and recommends solutions to operational challenges and Impact on Financials and work with cross functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
• Review complex account reconciliation and Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting, reconciliation, and overall control environment
• Helping to digitise and automate our accounting, reconciliation, and control processes while developing our accounting and reconciliation platforms

Qualifications & Experience:

• Indian Chartered Accountant or a US CPA
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting and reporting experience in a multinational company, preferably with 3-5 years of experience in audit / assurance in a Big 4 audit firm
• Good to expert working knowledge in US GAAP in an international company
• Financial ERP systems and management reporting tools, People Soft experience is desirable
