Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a key player in our cloud infrastructure initiatives, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will work closely with development teams to automate deployment processes, implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and ensure the efficient, scalable, and reliable delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities :

- GCP Infrastructure Management : Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including compute instances, storage, networking, databases, and other cloud-native services.

- Automation & Configuration Management : Automate deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.

- CI/CD Pipeline Implementation : Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows, integrating tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI for continuous delivery.

- Cloud Optimization : Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud resource utilization to ensure cost-efficiency and performance, implementing best practices for resource management on GCP.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GCP infrastructure and applications, providing solutions to improve stability and performance.

- Collaboration & Technical Guidance : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure the proper configuration and integration of cloud infrastructure with development workflows.

- Cloud Security : Implement security best practices, ensuring that all resources are secure, compliant, and optimized for GCP environments.

- Continuous Learning & Improvement : Stay up to date with the latest developments in GCP technologies, DevOps practices, and cloud services, continually improving infrastructure processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7-9 years of hands-on experience working with GCP or other cloud platforms, with a proven track record of managing large-scale cloud infrastructure projects.

- Certification in GCP (e.g, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) is a must.

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including infrastructure as code (IaC), continuous integration, and continuous deployment.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating tasks and building custom solutions.

- Extensive experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for provisioning and managing infrastructure.

- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and their integration with cloud environments.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent tools to streamline software delivery processes.

- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana) for tracking and analyzing cloud resource utilization.

- Expertise in managing cloud storage, databases, networking, and security services on GCP, such as Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL.

- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with multi-cloud environments or familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g, AWS, Azure).

- Experience with microservices architecture and its implementation in cloud environments.

- Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance.

- Understanding of networking in the cloud, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and VPCs
