DevOps Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (7-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and other relevant services.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Google Cloud Build.

- Manage and optimize cloud costs.

- Implement and maintain DevOps best practices, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and monitoring.

- Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.

- Implement and maintain security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.

- Ensure compliance with relevant security and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).

- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Stackdriver.

- Analyze logs and metrics to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cloud computing and DevOps technologies.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of DevOps processes and best practices.

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Systems Administration.

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Networking.

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Google Cloud Build.

- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, and firewalls.

- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Stackdriver.

- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
