Role Description
You will be joining Foundational Platforms team responsible for the strategy and development for the core, cross-technology software tool sets of IT Service Management and IT Asset Management. These products are vital to friction-less processes that are reliant on golden source data, and to enable intelligent use and management of the application/service estate. Foundational Platforms is responsible for driving improvement in the governance processes and exposing the data necessary to capitalize on analytics and automation opportunities.

The Product Owner is aligned to the Scrum teams and acts as thesingle point of contact for the individual Scrum Teams that aredelivering capabilities for the modules within the platform that theyare responsible for.
Overall, the Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value ofthe configuration delivered by a Scrum Team(s), ensuring alignmentto business outcomes

Your key responsibilities
The Product Owner will be responsible for:

Support Senior Product Owners in the vision for in-scope platform modules in alignment with the overallbusiness outcomes

Product backlog management

Prioritizing needs

Overseeing module configuration

Anticipating customer needs

Stakeholder management

Keeping up to date with the ServiceNow roadmap for theirrespective modules

Understand platform set up, capacity planning, monitoring, and performance improvement

You will be involved in:

Plan and align product area to business strategy

Demand Management

Assistance with requests, Collate, Assess, Align

Product Governance

Feature and Epic Governance

Demand Assessment platform alignment, business process,technical, operational

Organisation Change Management

Training and Release testing

Release collateral, KM, announcements and guided tours

Product Management

Forming the Product Backlog

Release & Sprint planning

Refining the Sprint Backlog

Story Authoring & Story Validation

Story Prioritisation

Your skills and experience

Overall IT experience of 10+ years

+3 years' experience in IT in large corporate environments, specifically in the area of Product Management or in Financial Services Technology in a client-facing function.

+3 Project Management Experience

ServiceNow foundational knowledge

IITIL / best practice service context

Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix structures

Graduate Degree from a university (or equivalent diploma / work experience)
