Job Title: Project Manager (Data, Reporting, Governance)

Corporate Title: Vice President

Location: Bangalore/Jaipur, India

or data or data analytics related project deliveries. Should be in change / transformation
space or associated with change/transformation initiatives



Role Description

In accordance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, banks, such as Deutsche Bank AG, are obliged to perform Know-Your-Client (KYC) reviews on all new clients they adopt and periodic reviews of these clients as per their risk category. The CLM Review Governance team is a global function supporting all CLM KYC Ops regional teams.

As part of the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Review Governance team, you will be responsible for Governance and Planning regarding the timely completion of the KYC. The responsibilities include monitoring files utilizing a reporting suite for global Client Life Cycle Management (CLM) group to ensure files are completed in a timely manner and are restricted if the KYC is not completed. Additionally, coordination of documentation of the process, procedures, playbooks, and communication relative to the Global process for the CLM in support of resolution of incorrect data points critical to KYC AML client profiles, and monitoring of cases.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the Data, Reporting, Governance and Steering to engage with technology and transformation team to review impact of technology releases which may impact data and governance.
  • Coordinating deliveries and managing prioritization on data architecture, data enhanced required based on technology deliveries.
  • Support the adoption and adherence of the project management best practices/ principles and standardized template for managing projects across the region
  • Support project (data) business case preparation where required for new initiatives, including initial scoping, proposals, framework and timeline planning, and baseline artefact definition.
  • Managing, tracking and reporting for project portfolios for MI & Steering team
  • Provide analytical insights to the project team for consumption of management and key stakeholders
  • Develop strong knowledge and understanding of systems, people and processes in around the client lifecycle management space as required (particularly across the end to end Client Outreach workflow), ensuring experience and knowledge gathered is leveraged to help drive efficient and effective delivery across the global BoW.
  • Support the Governance and Reporting teams and key regional and global stakeholders to achieve the right level of governance, decision making and project progress/ transparency
  • Participation and potential support (eg documenting minutes/actions) as required in relation to project meetings.
  • Coordinate process optimization and automation of the existing processes and new processes
  • Appropriate and confidential handling/sharing of sensitive client data
  • Support review and communication with internal Audit, Controls, and Embedded Risk Team

Your skills and experience

  • Previous Project Management both predictive and adaptive model, Governance and PMO experience, this role will focus on Agile methodology. Desired experience on technology or data or data analytics related project deliveries
  • Some level of BA/Product Owner experience and knowledge of structured project methodologies preferred.
  • Experience of administering structured framework, such as project governance, quality standards and committees
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands on experience in JIRA and PMIS
  • Experience in the Banking / Finance industry of which at least 5 years should be in change / transformation space or associated with change/transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of KYC and Client Lifecycle processes, procedures and experience with KYC data structures / data flows is preferred. Client Outreach specific knowledge an advantage.
  • Experience and understanding of working in a highly matrixed environment is advantageous.

How Youll Lead

  • Lead Governance forums globally to support oversight for completion and data integrity
  • Lead Working Groups to ensure critical decisions impacting the business are addressed and constraints to success are removed
  • Assist with maintenance of key operating documents, communication regarding files, process changes, and education as applicable
  • Coordinate analysis of periodic review workflow to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies to reduce overall time in PR lifecycle
