Product Design Engineer - Solidworks

Role & responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Develop and test prototypes for new products and components.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
• Conduct simulations and stress analyses to validate design integrity with SolidWorks simulation module.
• Maintain and update design documentation and standards.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Domain skills:

• Mechanical background, preferably in Tube mill design & manufacturing or special purpose machines, but not limited or required.
• Experienced in sheet metal design.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to translate concepts into detailed designs and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience of 3+ years as a Design Engineer with proficiency in SolidWorks & limited simulation knowledge is sufficient
