Crafting packages using E3D, UG NX, and AutoCAD for flawless 3D models and 2D drawings, including general arrangements, layouts, and cable layouts.
Crafting and refining piping designs, routing, and preparing GA isometric drawings, as well as developing PIDs in Comos/AutoCAD.
Interpreting simulation studies and implementing results to support the engineering of piping materials, valves, and structural components for procurement.
Performing basic calculations for pipe sizing, pressure drops, and other related metrics, while collaborating with clients and consultants for technical matters and drawing approvals.
Supporting fabrication and packaging at Siemens shop or on-site, with an added advantage if exposed to ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, Globus TC.
Bringing knowledge of material standards, piping valves, structural components, and basic rotating products to the table, while providing field and shop support and maintaining compliance with IMS.
How You ll Make an Impact
Your role will be pivotal to our ambitious projects, and you will:
Apply your expertise in 3D modeling of packages using E3D PDMS/UG NX 2023 and 2D using ACAD. Experience with piping stress analysis on K pipe/CESAR is preferred.
Apply detailed knowledge of consultant piping specifications and international standards (ASME, ASTM, API, AWS) to craft and fabricate world-class piping systems.
Work with and interpret technical specifications from renowned consultants such as EIL, TEIL, UHDE, LTC, Technip, Shell DEP, and ARAMCO.
Read and analyze Package Engineering drawings, including PI Diagrams, General Arrangements, Foundation Plans, and piping isometric drawings.
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Project, Excel), Adobe PDF, SAP, and Team Center to support project execution effectively.
Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong teamwork abilities, and adapt quickly to overcome all internal and external hurdles.
Have experience in the oil and gas industry, with knowledge of production planning and a schedule-based environment, ensuring all quality and safety norms are strictly followed.
What You Bring
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A graduate degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering with a proven ability to develop engineering 3D models using E3D, UG NX 2023, in a Teamcenter environment.
At least 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in E3D, PDMS, and model/drawing creation based on client and consultant requirements.
The capability to provide back-office engineering support for various Siemens Energy operations globally, including workshop, vendor, and client site support.
Experience in developing 3D models for equipment and systems, including piping, piping supports, valves, structures, instrumentation, and hookups using UG NX 2023/PDMS/E3D.
