Roles and Responsibilities

Trend Research: Analyse seasonal trends, colors, prints, fabrics, and styling to inform design

decisions

Concept Development: Contribute to the development of seasonal concepts and themes

Sketching & Rendering: Create and render sketches based on seasonal concepts, incorporating

appropriate colors and prints

Line Sheets: Maintain line sheets for seasonal range plans

Tech Packs: Develop and update detailed tech packs, illustrating design and construction details

with high accuracy

Material Organization: Organize materials, samples, and digital files efficiently

Creative Assistance: Assist with daily creative needs, including color and fabric choices

Collaboration: Work closely with the sourcing team for design, product development, and

production approvals

Team Coordination: Collaborate with Buying and Sourcing teams to ensure effective design

development

Fittings: Conduct fitting sessions in coordination with the Tech team

Design Follow-up: Manage fabric/print/surface design follow-ups and approvals

Timely Execution: Ensure adherence to seasonal calendar deadlines

Marketing Support: Contribute researched ideas to support the brands catalogue and

marketing efforts

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience and a UG degree from NIFT

Creativity & Passion: Naturally creative with a strong passion for and aesthetic sense of modern

and classic Indian menswear

Adaptability: Excited about working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment with a positive

outlook

Detail-Oriented: Strong aesthetic sense for Indian-inspired luxury design and meticulous

attention to detail

Hands-On: Willingness to engage in hands-on design R&D (fabrics, silhouettes, techniques, etc,)

at fabric and garment houses

Expertise: Demonstrates high-level aesthetics and creativity with a strong understanding of

Ethnic, Menswear, and Western wear

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

and calendars

Communication: Effective communicator with strong articulation of ideas

Independence: Ability to handle work independently with minimal supervision

Technical Skills: High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; optional skills in Excel and

Corel Draw are a plus

reimagining mens ethnic fashion

With over 6 years of experience working alongside iconic ethnic and

couture brands, the right candidate will bring fresh perspectives, unparalleled expertise, and an

innovative spirit to create trendsetting collections that captivate and inspire

In this role, you will own the creative vision for our ethnic menswear linean exclusive collection that

celebrates the rich heritage of ethnic wear while pushing the boundaries of contemporary fashion

From

luxurious sherwanis, kurta sets and artisanal kurtas, shirt, bandhgalas and nehru jackets to fusion wear

that speaks to the modern man, you will ensure every piece exudes style, sophistication, and originality

In this role you have an exposure for Ethnic Menswear along with Western categories like blazers, shirts,

breeches, and polos

Key Responsibilities

Curate & Create: Spearhead the design and development of the men's ethnic collection, from

concept to runway, blending intricate traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge design

elements

Design with Purpose: Develop mood boards, trend forecasts, and design briefs that tell

compelling stories and resonate with the discerning customer

Trendsetter & Innovator: Stay ahead of global and local fashion trends, leading the charge in

identifying emerging styles, fabrics, and techniques that will set the stage for the next big thing

in ethnic menswear

Craftsmanship & Quality: Elevate designs through thoughtful details, unique embroideries, high-
