Plumbing Works Supervisor (Internal & External)

Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision:
   
• Oversee and manage all internal and external plumbing works, including water supply, drainage systems, and sanitary installations.
• Ensure proper execution of plumbing layouts as per approved design and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.

1. Coordination and Communication:
   
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other contractors to ensure plumbing works align with the overall project timeline.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of plumbing materials and equipment.
• Communicate with the project team to resolve design or installation issues promptly.

1. Installation and Testing:
   
• Supervise the installation of pipes, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment for internal and external systems.
• Oversee pressure testing, leak detection, and performance testing of plumbing systems.
• Ensure all plumbing works comply with local regulations and safety standards.

1. Quality Control and Safety:
   
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project requirements and specifications.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all workers use appropriate protective equipment.
• Identify and resolve quality issues promptly to avoid project delays.
2. Documentation and Reporting:
   
• Maintain daily records of work progress, material usage, and manpower deployment.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the project manager.
• Keep records of inspections, testing, and approvals for future reference.

1. Problem Solving:
   
• Address plumbing-related technical problems or unforeseen challenges that arise during construction.
• Propose cost-effective and practical solutions while maintaining project standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Plumbing or Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Proven experience in supervising internal and external plumbing works.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, designs, and installation techniques.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
