PCB-Design Engineer

Svaya Robotics seeks a technically oriented candidate with strong knowledge in Schematic Layout and PCB Design. You will be responsible for execution of projects from concept to final implementation as an individual or in a team in a product development environment for industrial automation products. The ideal candidate will have complete hands-on knowledge in PCB design and prototyping

Key responsibilities:

• Experience with end to product development from schematic to Gerber creation and release of design package.
• Design multilayer PCBs as per the specification and constraints provided by technical team.
• Library development and database management of components as required for the project.
• Proven hands-on experience in designing and maintaining the versions of the already existing boards.
• Ability to work effectively in cross- functional teams viz. Mechanical and software teams.
• Maintain and update PCB design documents, participate in design reviews, inspection, and testing.
• Good verbal, written communication. Experience of communicating with vendors, distributors, and fabricators.
• Support inhouse prototyping.

Essential Qualifications (Bold lines are a MUST for the role):

• BTech /B.E in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 4+ Years of experience
• Strong electronic design fundamentals (transmission line theory, DC drop, power distribution and high-speed design thumb rules)
• Proven experience in schematic capture, layout design, PCB stack-up proposals, library generation, routing rules creation
• Must have working knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity (PDN)
• Should have working knowledge of SI tools like Hyperlynx
• Must have worked on complex boards involving analog and digital designs
• Should have a know-how on EMI/EMC, PCB methods for immunity and supress emissions.
• Should have knowledge in understanding the electrical (SI / Timing / EMI) aspects of the design and shall be capable of providing solutions
• Must have complete knowledge of the PCB fabrication aspects including HDI, shall be conversant with the DFx needs of the industry.
• Should have worked on multilayer (6-10 Layers) and high-speed design boards.
• Must be proficient with Schematic and PCB tools, Altium, Orcad and Allegro.
• Experience working with PCBs that have DDR4 memories, PCIe interfaces, USB3.x, EMMCs is given preference .
