Design Engineer

Summary /Purpose of the role

• Responsible for design, development and engineering of induction motors/Servo motor/PMSM motors required in Domestic and industrial application.
• Simulation and Design calculations.
• Coordinate Testing of Product, components & Materials pertaining to motor as per national/international standards.
• Work and communicate within a multidiscipline group and plant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations/specifications/drawings/BOM for motors as per the requirement.
• Oversee the development of the motors as per the plan
• Coordinate Testing of Product, components & Materials pertaining to motor as per national/international standards.
• Make design review and check design and documents
• Work within New Product Development (NPD) Process.
• Support Operations on Quality Issues and for In Process Testing if needed.
• Support Purchasing, for vendor development.
• Maintain Design Change note, other Design Docs.
• Co-ordinate with other divisions. [QA, Plant, procurement, testing]

Skills

• Should have knowledge of IS/IEC Standard Specification.
• Experience on Solid edge /Auto cad will be advantage

Candidate Profile

Design Engineer.

Qualification- D.M.E. with good experience / B.E./ME (Mechanical)

Experience in manufacturing Industry, Motors preferable.
